You Go Girl!

This is Morgan in the annual year end dance festival at school. Her class did the Hokie Pokie. Morgan has just ended the 3rd grade. How time flies. Morgan had a great teacher this year and has enjoyed going to school. She has worked very hard to get good grades. And when you ask what your favorite subject is, she'll always tell you recess. Morgan is our middle child- literally! She loves to have fun and has a very contagious smile. Her laughter is unforgetable. And she brightens any room she walks into. She is a carefree, out to live life to the fullest, and forgets anything you tell her in the first 5 min. She gets that from her Mom. (poor kid)

Lessons I learned in school

Micah promoted from 6th grade today. Wow, I can't even begin to explain the feelings that I had today. I love the song by Trace Adkins- "Your gonna miss this" it is about wanting to grow up too fast, and the ones who have, are saying slow down you will miss these moments in your life. It is true, It seems just like the blink of an eye and life has passed by quickly. Micah is a very good student, she earned the top academic award, and the presidential award. As well as she was asked to represent her class by speaking at promotion. Here are some of my favorite inserts from her speech: "Everything in school begins the learning process for life." "I have learned that having good friends, means you need to be a good friend. Being a good friend means that you don't say something you will regret. After all, they will find out sooner or later. It also means to accept others for who they are, and accept yourself for who you are." "Many of us have had our own experiences in school, some good, some bad, but I am sure that all of us have learned valuable lessons to begin making our future. " I am not just saying this because I am her Mom, but Micah definitely stole the show today. She was incredible. She is very well put together, knows what she wants, and has the drive to be successful. She is definitely her Daddy's little girl. She is just like him. We are very proud of her and all that she has accomplished in her life so far.

T Ball

What awsome boys!!!! Thanks Grandma Liz for the picture. I have started coaching T Ball this year. It has been an amazing experience. I am always willing to try something once. This was one of those I thought I would only do once but I have loved coaching T Ball. I am not sure they are learning anything but hopefully they are having fun. I had to pull Thaddeus (Left) off of 2nd base in one of our games because he kept body slamming the runner. Even when he didn't have the ball. I am thinking he may want to try football. I love having Ethan on my team. (middle). Ethan is always full of questions most of them not pertaining to T Ball but funny non the less. Mason (right) is a natural at T Ball. He works hard and loves to help coach his little brother Ethan. He is always giving him pointers. We only have 8 games left in the season. It has gone by really quick. Although it has been a hectic schedule 3 nights a week with either practice or games it has been great.

Computer Stupid

Wow, ( Callee ) I know you are going to be so proud of me. I can't believe it myself, I have now joined bloggers alike in the never ending battle of whose family is cuter. (If only for a night, thats my attention span. ) However, I think I need a stupid bloggers support group. I work on computers all day but it took me forever just to find a stupid title for my blog site. I ended up going with one of the "suggested" site names, that was after I typed the same thing over and over again wondering why it hated the site name that I wanted but I was determined so I kept entering the same one again and again, but ultimately I had to give in. So needless to say my first attempt at blogging..... not so good.
