So as a little girl I remember going to See's candy store to get that one coveted butterscotch lollipop. We were only allowed to get one. I am not sure if it was to make us remember it more. Or if Mom just thought we would appreciate it more if we only had one. I remember always going at Christmas time this was one of those magic moments of Christmas for me. Although I have not been successful at keeping this tradition alive with my kids for me See's candies will never lose it's magic. Today we ran into the mall while we were passing time before Morgan's soccer game and I decided to take the kids to See's. For just a small minute I felt like that little girl standing anxiously at the counter waiting to be rung up. It seemed almost like time had stopped and that I was standing there with Mom not knowing who had the bigger smile, her or me. Ding Ding the sound of the register quickly brought me back and I couldn't believe the sticker shock $3.78 for 6. Reality really bites. If I am not mistaken they were only a dime when I was young.

OH I love these! my favorite is the chocolate. my kids hate them though and I was so offended wjen they wouldn't eat them. Wow.. they are expensive now, you really need to stay away from the mall, you are going to get into trouble, but at least your kids will look cute right?

I remember getting those when your mom and grandma would come visit. Butterscotch is totally the best!
